Lovely cozy place with bar with a wonderful fire for the winter and a fully renovated restaurant. Great and taste beef stew and buttered greens. We also enjoyed the tasty macaroni and cheese and the sticky toffee pudding with cream. Very nice service and not expensive place. We had a great lovely time there.

Totally refurbished to a high standard maintaining the character of this historic building, exciting new menu and well stocked bars make this the ideal place to enjoy an evening with friends and loved ones. I highly recommend the Kiev it's the best I've tasted.

This is one of the friendliest places I've stayed in. Lovely food, including a delicious breakfast with many choices. If you're taking your dog with you, you'll find that the owners and staff are very positive and relaxed towards dogs, and have two lovely dogs of their own. Accommodation is a little old fashioned, but very cosy and comfortable. This was my second visit and I'll be back in future.

Was closed, nothing on the website or on Google to say that, so we arrived, very hungry, to be turned away with little explanation and no suitable alternative nearby. This was Maundy Thursday too, so you would expect it to have been open.
